The Molloys Blues at Largs Bay RSL
Our fledgeling Blues Trio had a great time playing a couple of sets at the Largs Bay RSL on 20 December 2025. Thank you to all who attended and supported live and local music. We are looking forward to playing more often at the RSL, as well as to introducing more students, artists and bands and even starting up a regular open mic night. Musicians Andrea Duff (keys and vocals) and Karl Zander (guitar, resonator, banjitar, ukelele and vocals) present a musical anthology straight from the hearts of mothers and fathers as they reflect on their own musical influences.
The duo revisits the swirling dance music of the Wonderland ballroom in post-war Adelaide; a mother's vintage sheet-music collection; an absent father's love of rockabilly in Mozambique; the universal trials of the 60s housewife and the meaning of home.
